Phoenix Roebelenii – Pygmy Date Palm

Phoenix roebelenii, commonly known as the Pygmy Date Palm, is a small to medium-sized, slow-growing tree. It bears small yellowish flowers and tiny fruits, each only about 1 cm in size. Originating from the dense tropical forests of Africa and Asia, this slender tree grows slowly and typically reaches a maximum height of 2-3 meters indoors. However, as a miniature date palm, it usually grows to a height of 1.5 to 1.8 meters.

The Phoenix roebelenii features arching and graceful fronds adorned with delicate leaflets, emerging from a stately central trunk.
