Crassula Ovata, commonly known as Jade plants or Dollar plants, are compact, shrubby succulents native to South Africa. They typically reach heights of up to 90 cm and widths of 60 cm. These plants feature thick, fleshy stems and glossy, mid-green leaves, occasionally with red margins, growing up to 5 cm long in an egg-shaped to elliptic form. In autumn, they produce star-shaped flowers in shades ranging from white to pale pink.
Jade plants are popular for their ornamental value in outdoor patio gardens and thrive exceptionally well when grown in pots.
